Stipa - - Bamboos and Grasses

This is a large clump-forming evergreen grass. It is grown for its attractive foliage and flowers. The leaves are long narrow and dark green tinged orange. In the winter, the whole clump will turn a rich rusty orange colour. In mid summer, arching stems of fluffy, pinkish-purple flowers will appear.
